Bookmark Creation

EVEMiner will not function without bookmarks. To successfully move from belts to station you will need to use belt and station bookmarks.

A station bookmark is a bookmark that is made within the undocking range of a space station. To make a station bookmark:

Exit from the station.
Stop your ship.
Open the locations window.
You can have only one station bookmark at a time. A suggested name for your station bookmark is: 1 - Station.

Belt bookmarks come in two types and can be used simultaneously.

A bookmark can be made in warp range of asteroids. This is the best method for hulk users.
- Bookmarks in warp range can be placed 200+km from asteroids.
- Use two or three re-warps at 100km from a station to belt and back, and then create a bookmark 200+km from the asteroids.
- Do not make a warp bookmark too far away and make sure you can still see all asteroids in the overview.
- The script will use this bookmark to re-warp closer to asteroids.

A bookmark can be made in the vicinity of asteroids: This is the recommended type of bookmarks for small and fast vessels.
- If you place a bookmark in the vicinity of asteroids, choose a place for your bookmark with the maximum possible number of asteroids in the optimal range of your lasers.
- Bookmarks made in the vicinity of asteroids have advantages: You do not have to re-warp to the asteroids and as a result your mining is more effective.
- They also have disadvantage: If all of your asteroids in the vicinity of your bookmarks are depleted, you will spend a lot of time approaching asteroids.
A suggested name for belt bookmarks is: 2 Belt V, 3 Belt VI ... etc.
Station bookmarks begins with the number 1 and belt bookmarks begin with a number greater than 1 so you can sort your bookmarks by name and all of them will appear in the order.
Station bookmarks must appear first, belt bookmarks must follow afterwards, all other bookmarks must be placed after the belt bookmarks.
It is recommended that you remove all non-mining bookmarks from the systems that you mine in.
You can also limit number of bookmarks EVEMiner use from the GUI.

Please do not use keywords "Dock", "Approach", "Warp" in bookmark names. Bot will search for these keywords in right click menu and may confuse coordinates if the same text is found in your bookmark

All bookmarks must be in the first subfolder of second level:

You can rename "Default" to anything else, but make sure it remains the first subfolder in Personal Locations folder. The same is valid for shared bookmarks (used in looter or hunter) were all bookmarks must be in the first subfolder in Shared Locations folder
